"Glory of the Snow"
One other thing that comes to mind is gardening. After being tucked away for the winter, gardening is not a chore but a delight. It stirs thoughts of beauty and fresh smells. Spring is when all of the new seed catalogs come in the mailbox to pour over and plan and dream and plan and scheme...flowers and vegetables and fruits. What a wonderful variety of seeds there are!! I like to try new things but where I live, the growing season is short so I have to choose just the right seed for my area. There are many types of seeds. Some are very small and seem insignificant and others are quite large!

"He who observes the wind will not sow,
and he who regards the clouds will not reap."
Ecclesiastes 11:4
From year to year we must stay flexible and patient. The time for starting seeds indoors is a good time to prepare. On a beautiful day the week before last, I went out to my garden area and assessed what was needed for this year. I neglected to weed and rake in the Fall and so that was the first order of business. To my surprise, my garlic bulbs were already growing shoots and I even found a little pansy tucked under some leaves that survived the winter. My Irises are up and turning green, I also saw the lovely Glory of the Snow flowers poking out of one of my beds.
There is always hope!"Let us not grow weary in well doing,
for in due time we will reap a harvest,
if we do not give up." Galatians 6:9
So what seeds are you starting? Share your thoughts in the comments!
Happy Spring!
